Taking place on the grounds of the 15th Century Banffy Castle in Transylvania, the Electric Castle Festival entered it’s 7th year in 2019, and added the “New Media Castle” to it’s program. Considered as a New Media Art exhibition (vs a festival “activation”), it showcased artists from around the world - as well as a group of 5 students from the Digital Interactive Arts program at UBB in Cluj- in the partially ruined landmark Romanian castle.
I was asked to curate and produce the show, help develop the identity of the exhibition, and oversee it’s integration in the festival’s overall identity.
