 There is a form of art that seems to want certain types of locations, “non-museal”, often counter purpose spaces. Installation work, is in time as much as it is in space (visible space but also perspectives through space).  The closest one gets to owning it is in posting it.  There is a history, poorly known and understood, that supports the spectacle it provides. It seduces, but when well made it also scratches an aesthetic nerve that isn’t easily quieted.  Please don’t say it is “at the intersection” or that it “blurs the lines”.
