In collaboration with Neville Wakefield, I developed an interactive window display for Helmut Lang's store in Los Angeles. The glass window was covered with a two way reflective film. The window was, in its inactive state, a purely reflective surface.   As soon as pedestrian or car traffic was sensed by our custom motion detection system, a set of 4 high brightness video screens turned on, and a set of high intensity LED lights were triggered.

The screens were populated with content downloaded from Instagram, Tumblr, and Google images, using search terms such as #helmutlang, #sheep, #losangeles, #louisebourgeois etc...Twitter was also polled for posts with the same terms.  Since both images and text could be at times devoid of interest, we decided to treat the images by converting them to high contrast black and white, and randomly redact the text with black blocks.
